Hi my name is Eilish Craig, I am based in Antrim & Belfast. I am a fully qualified Integrative counsellor, and a member of the National Counselling Society holding Accredited registrant status. Working Integratively means I use a variety of approaches. Every client Is different, so my approach is tailored to suit each of their unique individual needs. I put a special emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, to paraphrase Petruska Clarkson "it is the medium upon which we, and our clients live, breathe and find our meaning". I offer a warm, genuine and safe environment where my clients are heard and accepted in a non-judgemental way. I have experience in working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, identity issues, trauma, homelessness, asd/aspergers, bereavement, diagnosis, and those bereaved by suicide. I am trauma informed and have an interest in this area and plan to develop my skills and knowledge further. I like to use a variety of creative means in my approach to therapy and invite my clients to explore their creative side during our time together. I am a facilitator of suicide prevention programme and deliver workshops to a variety of community groups, public and private sector. I am a Reiki practitioner holding level 1 & 2 certificates. I hope to further develop this aspect of my work as it complements the therapeutic work so well. Join here:

Hello Everyone, my name is Sarah and I am excited to be your Creative Counsellors Ambassador for Birmingham.
Born and Bred in Cornwall, I now live in sunny Stoke-on-Trent with my husband Alastair and daughter Zoe. It is exactly 10 years ago that I began my MSc Counselling Psychology at Keele University and I have been creatively counselling ever since. Currently, I work as a sessional counsellor for The Dove Service (Specialising in Loss & Bereavement), and this past year I have been developing my own private practice as well as starting my Supervisors training. I may work in the Potteries (The Dove Service is based in a converted pottery factory with a Bottle Kiln in the middle) but my Cornish roots are a fundamental part of my creativity, especially when working with Sand trays, guided visualisations and Inner Child.
This amazing group has allowed me to get to know my Creative Counsellors family and given me a place to call home.

Hi I am Juulia. I am a BACP registered counsellor working with clients in Edinburgh. Through my private practice I see clients who are experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties. I also work with individual companies to provide employee assistance and run workshops around communication and mental health.
I love to collaborate with my clients about what their therapy should look like. That is one of the reasons I love using creative methods with my clients!
I have a soft spot in my heart for narrative therapy and draw a lot of elements from this modality into my creative work. Recently I have also been bringing more elements of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy into my work. As a pluralistic therapist, I like to think of myself as a bit of a 'Jack-of-all-trades' and I draw from many modalities. Creative approaches provide a wonderful way to pull many of these modalities together to create something special and unique for each client.
My favourite go to creative tools are my numerous projection cards and my trusty mini sand tray. At the rate new creative tools land in my shopping basket however, that may well have changed by the time you are reading this Bio. Join here:

Hi, my name is Anna and I am the Ambassador for North Wales. I joined Creative Counsellors and am busy positively spreading the word as I was so inspired by the power of the interventions, the positivity of the group and the chance to meet and share with like minded people. I have a background in primary care nursing and have also taken a holistic approach when helping
my patients/clients and feel strongly that each person is unique so each persons path to achieving well-being is unique.
I have worked for several years as a clinical trainer and earlier this year I was module leader for two undergraduate modules taught level 4 and level 6, at Wrexham, Glyndwr University, the use of
counselling skills within education and key issues for counselling in education.
I trained in person-centred counselling at University of Chester and qualified back in 2006. I am a member of BACP. I love learning and teaching and have lots of enthusiasm to facilitate learning for
others also. I am keen to learn new skills and I am particularly interested in the clients use of artwork/clay in therapy to help express themselves. I recently enjoyed a week undertaking Foundations in Art Therapy at Chester University. I am learning to play djembe drum and attend drum circle monthly. I believe that drumming can be used as support for emotional well-being and mental health.

Hi, I am Tracey and I am a proud Ambassador for Creative Counsellors. My experience comes from working at NRICC (rape crisis) for 7 years, CRI (drug and alcohol misuse) 3 years, MIND-BLMK 3 years and currently in Private Practice. I also worked with Children and families for 8 years with Milton Keynes Council and have worked with families with complex difficulties. I am a Therapeutic Counsellor and I work mainly in an Integrative and Creative way, never forgetting my Person’ Centred core values, always putting the needs of the client first. This means I have many counselling "tools" in my toolbox and will use the approach that I feel fits with you and your emotional uniqueness and needs. The therapeutic space is yours to explore the difficulties you are facing right now. Working creatively to explore emotions when words just will not come, or there are no words. It is like unraveling a knotted ball of wool, or peeling back the layers of your life, like the layers of an onion. Life is not always easy, I am here to listen to your story, and be with you on your journey. I am passionate about helping to spread the word of the benefits of creativity in counselling.
