  1. Conduct, Confidentiality & Online Participation

Creative Counsellors Community CIC aims to create spaces that are respectful, reflective, inclusive, creative, and emotionally safe.

By participating in our memberships, trainings, workshops, supervision spaces, peer groups, online communities, or events, you agree to:

  • Engage respectfully and professionally with facilitators and participants
  • Respect the confidentiality and privacy of others
  • Avoid sharing identifying client information unless appropriately anonymised and ethically discussed
  • Avoid sharing participant contributions or discussions outside the space without explicit permission
  • Follow safeguarding guidance, facilitator instructions, and community expectations

To help protect participant privacy and confidentiality:

  • Independent participant recording, screenshots, livestreaming, transcription software, and external AI meeting assistants (including Otter AI, Fireflies, Read.ai, Fathom, and similar services) are not permitted unless explicitly authorised in writing by Creative Counsellors Community CIC.
  • Zoom links, replay links, member resources, and event access details must not be shared with unauthorised individuals.
  • Some training and CPD sessions may include facilitator-created learning summaries or meeting notes for educational purposes. These summaries are reviewed before sharing and identifying or confidential information will be removed wherever appropriate.
  • Peer support spaces, reflective practice groups, supervision spaces, and wellbeing gatherings are intended to remain confidential and are not routinely recorded, summarised, or transcribed by the organisation.

For many of our live online trainings, reflective spaces, supervision groups, and community gatherings, we encourage participants to attend with cameras on where possible. This helps us maintain a relational, engaged, and safer online environment, supports facilitator awareness and safeguarding, and strengthens connection within the group experience.

We recognise that there may occasionally be accessibility, wellbeing, neurodivergent, technological, or personal reasons why a participant may need to have their camera off temporarily. We therefore ask participants to communicate with facilitators where appropriate and to engage respectfully within the spirit of the space.

Creative Counsellors Community CIC reserves the right to remove unidentified attendees or participants where there are concerns relating to safety, confidentiality, safeguarding, or inappropriate participation within online spaces.

While we take reasonable steps to help protect confidentiality within our online and in-person spaces, no online platform can guarantee absolute confidentiality.
